The Aire Apartments project involved the transformation of a 430-room hotel into a dual-purpose facility comprising a 178 room Crowne Plaza and 185 multi-family apartment units. This innovative conversion, completed in April 2023, had a total cost of $51,943,000. The process took 18 months, focusing on converting 255 hotel units into apartments. Notably, this project is one of the first in the upper Midwest, to undertake a hotel-to-multi-family conversion.
